At the begining, it seems like Computer Science is winning, but at the end of the video, the entire table turned.

What is winning / success ?

Most of the time when we hear "being successful", people immediately think of "material success". Huge houses, luxuries, huge incomes. But based on different people with different goals, "winning" can mean different things.

For those who wants materialistic things, ok fine, they fall under the "normal" category. But take me for example : I wish to gather people to create things together and aim to inspire others. At this point, I am on my way to full fill this goal. But the main target of this goal is not about money, it is about the people and ideas and creations.

Computer Science and Medicine are on different dimensions

Let's start with a simpler question ... 1 Meter VS 1 Second VS 1 kg, which one is bigger ? This does not make sense as we all know length and duration and mass are completely different. Each 1 meter or 1 second or 1 kg are bigger than the others in their own aspect but that doesn't mean that one is better.

The same goes for Computer Science and Medicine. One focuses on Physical Parts, Algorithms, mechanisms, theories, one focuses on lives, biology, chemistry, how living beings interact with the rest of the world.

Everything is Engineering ?

The main idea of Engineering is to use what you have learn to make things work the way you want. Technically, almost every subject we learn can some how fall under this trait.

STEM Subjects like Math, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Computer Science is easy to understand. Using different mechanisms to make systems, tools, architecture, etc.

Literature is a smol stretch : using words to convey thoughts or ideas, Writting songs to express complex emotions.

Even things that are not academic can have engineering involved a little bit as well.

but they can combine

when we mix Computer Science and Medicine together, we can use the speed of the electrons to accelerate the growth of our healing technology. And actually, we are on the way there. Hospitals uses databases, MRI scans, servers to handle patients, appointments. Equipment measuring heart beats, pulses, blood presure.

Comparing Computer Science and Medicine is fine to think about it a little bit, but I preffer to think what can we achieve when more subjects are involved.

going back to 1 meter vs 1 second vs 1 kg ? Idk but we can make velocity, acceleration, force, energy, power, density, pressure out of them ~
